2020 Social Development Support Program (SOGEP)

“Pre-Application Announcement”

“ATTENTION: The pre-application date has been revised to **May 22, 2020**.”

The objective of the Social Development Support Program (SOGEP) is to address social problems arising from poverty, migration, and urbanization by mobilizing local dynamics in the region, to respond to the needs created by the changing social structure, to enable disadvantaged segments of society to participate more actively in economic and social life, to increase employability, to support social entrepreneurship and innovation, and to popularize social responsibility practices.

The program priorities are as follows:

 
• Priority-1: Increasing Employability
• Priority-2: Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation
• Priority-3: Social Inclusion
• Priority-4: Social Responsibility

Public institutions and organizations, professional organizations acting as public institutions, associations, cooperatives, civil society organizations, organized industrial zones, industrial sites, free zone operators, universities, technology transfer office companies, and managing companies of organizations such as technology development zones, industrial zones, and business development centers, which are non-profit or pursue a certain degree of public interest, and private sector organizations that **only** can submit projects under ‘Priority 4; Social Responsibility Projects’ can be applicants and/or project partners under this program.

Within the framework of this program, the project budget is at least 1 Million TL.

Our Agency will conduct the SOGEP project application process in two stages.
Within the scope of the pre-application stage, the SOGEP Projects Pre-Application Form, which presents the project idea, must be filled out and sent via e-mail to pyb@mevka.org.tr by **May 22, 2020**. Project ideas found suitable will be moved to the final application stage, and from this point forward, project development activities will be carried out directly under the coordination of our Agency.

Ultimately, it is aimed to prepare a total of 6 projects (3 Konya, 3 Karaman), with 3 projects per province, within the scope of 2020 SOGEP.
