Turkey Cyber Homeland Program Begins in Konya
The 2025 period activities of the Turkey Cyber Homeland Program, to be implemented in accordance with the “Development Agencies Cyber Homeland Program Cybersecurity Training Cooperation Protocol” signed between our Agency and Konya Technical Üniversitesi on 27.09.2024, have been initiated.
The program aims to meet our country's need for cybersecurity experts by increasing the awareness of university students, identifying potential talents, implementing training and talent development activities, and encouraging and supporting their career planning in the field of digital and cybersecurity technologies.

Application Requirements:
- The student must be enrolled at Konya Technical Üniversitesi during the 2024-2025 academic period (No department restriction.)
- The student must be talented in the field of information technology, curious about digital technologies, and willing to improve themselves.
- The student must be able to fully attend face-to-face trainings to be held within the academic calendar year (Attendance is mandatory for trainings.)
Applications for the program will be accepted via the link above until Friday, October 25, 2024, at 23:59. Subsequently, as a result of evaluations made by our Agency, students whose applications are accepted will be directed to the Siber Vatan Hackviser platform, and after the acceptance process, students will be required to complete the training and tasks (linux, network training) on the platform online within a 15-day period.
Students who complete the tasks on the Hackviser Platform will be subjected to an exam, and 40 successful students among them will be entitled to receive face-to-face training. Students will participate in three trainings: CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) training, web security training, and reverse engineering training, each of which will be five days and face-to-face. The trainings will be held at Konya Technical Üniversitesi.
Students participating in technical trainings and applications as part of the Cyber Homeland Program will be directed to teams formed for more in-depth and technical trainings in sub-themes of cybersecurity.
At the Cyber Homeland Bootcamp event, 10 days of in-depth and technical trainings, tasks and applications, reverse engineering studies, scenario-based drills, and competitions are held.
