Successful projects among those applied for within the scope of the 4th Term of the 2024 Transformation in Manufacturing Industry Technical Support Program, announced by Mevlana Development Agency—which continues its work in the TR-52 Konya-Karaman Region under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology General Directorate of Development Agencies—to ensure corporate, digital, and green transformation in the manufacturing industry, have been announced.

Within the call program announced in two separate priorities, namely ensuring corporate transformation and twin (green and digital) transformation for manufacturing enterprises, cooperatives, and related chambers and associations in the Konya-Karaman Region, 36 projects were entitled to receive support.

Evaluating the call program announced by the institution, Mevlana Development Agency Secretary General Dr. İhsan Bostancı said, “We have completed the evaluation process for the 4th Term of the 2024 Transformation in Manufacturing Industry Technical Support Program announced by our Agency. Within the program, where we aimed to contribute to the corporate and digital transformation processes of our stakeholders in our region, 36 projects that applied were entitled to receive support. Under the corporate transformation priority, projects such as management consultancy, facilitating the acquisition of permits, quality, and certification documents by initiating application processes, preparation of full feasibilities for investment, providing export coaching services to manufacturing firms that have not exported before, and preparation of feasibility reports for the production of body armor, ammunition, etc. in the defense industry, test centers, and common use areas in OIZs were found successful by our Agency. Under the heading of ensuring twin (green and digital) transformation in the manufacturing industry, eligible project applications for reporting and feasibility studies for achieving green consensus, digitalization, energy audit, clean production, energy efficiency, carbon footprint, and lean manufacturing consultancy activities were evaluated. I would especially like to state that successful projects for providing export coaching consultancy services under the corporate transformation priority will be carried out in cooperation with KTO Foreign Trade Center established within Konya Chamber of Commerce with the support of our Agency under a protocol signed by our Agency; successful projects for preparing energy audits under the twin (green and digital) transformation priority will be carried out in cooperation with Konya Chamber of Industry under a protocol signed by our Agency; and successful projects for ensuring the green transformation of firms will also be carried out in cooperation with TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center under a protocol signed by our Agency. We have full faith that the projects to be carried out with the support of our Agency will make great contributions to ensuring both the corporate and digital and green transformation processes of our stakeholders in our region. As an Agency, stating that we will continue to support our stakeholders in every field they need, such as production, investment, planning, employment, and export, with the reports we prepare, our financial and technical support programs, consultancy services, collaborations, and field studies, I wish the projects to be implemented to be beneficial for our firms, our region, and our country.”
