Contracts continue to be signed for projects found successful and entitled to receive support within the scope of the Financing Support Program for Increasing Production and Youth Employment in the Manufacturing Industry, announced in 2023 by Mevlana Development Agency, which continues its work in the Konya-Karaman Region under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology General Directorate of Development Agencies.

In this direction, the contracts for the Chain Guide and Friction Profiles Manufacturing Project prepared by Rulmek Hırdavat operating in Karaman, and the Increasing Our Market Share with Product Diversification Project prepared by Sosyete Un, also operating in Karaman, were signed by Mevlana Development Agency Secretary General İhsan Bostancı and company officials.

Making statements about the projects after the contract signings as an Agency, Mevlana Development Agency Secretary General İhsan Bostancı said, “As an Agency, we continue to sign contracts with projects entitled to receive support within the scope of the Financing Support Call for Proposals, announced in 2023 for SMEs to increase production, productivity, and youth employment in the manufacturing industry in our region. Today, we have initiated projects by signing contracts with two of our companies operating in the machinery and food sectors in our Karaman province. Within the Chain Guide and Friction Profiles Manufacturing Project, for which our Agency has allocated approximately 1.1 Million TL, equipment needed by our company in its production processes, such as a CNC router, CNC lathe, and panel sizing machine, will be procured. Since our company does not have these machines, the necessary operations are outsourced, which leads to significant losses for our company. With the procurement of needed machinery and equipment with the support of our Agency, production capacity will be increased by 30%, and 20 new product items will be produced. This project is extremely important as it will increase the company's production capacity and export volume. With the other project whose contract we signed, the Increasing Our Market Share with Product Diversification Project, an electronic packaging unit will be purchased. The resource allocated by our Agency to this project is approximately 1.25 Million TL.  Currently, placing products of 25 and 50 kilograms into packages, weighing, and packaging are done manually, which causes both time and efficiency loss. With the establishment of the automation system, measurement and packaging will now be done automatically, and thereafter, bagging in 5, 10, and 25-kilogram kraft paper bags will also be possible. Thus, product diversification will be achieved, which will significantly contribute to expanding the company's customer portfolio and increasing its market share. With the completion of the project, a significant increase in production capacity will be achieved. As an institution, expressing our satisfaction in supporting these projects that will strengthen the hands of our firms in our Region in the national and international competitive environment and make great contributions to their production, employment, productivity, and export processes, I wish the projects to be implemented to bring benefits to our firm, our region, and our country.”
