Pursuant to Presidential Circular No. 2022/7 dated June 7, 2022, preparations for the regional plan covering the years 2024-2028, which will replace the regional plan expiring in 2023, are being carried out under the coordination of development agencies.

Regional plans are high-level plans in the planning hierarchy, located just below national development plans, and are guiding plans that make decisions concerning not only the Agency but all actors in the region. For this reason, we believe that preparing the Regional Plan for the Konya Karaman Region with a participatory approach, involving our region's actors in decisions concerning the entire region, is a more appropriate approach.

In this context, to form a basis for the decisions to be taken in the regional plan, committee meetings will be held for social issues on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at 14:00; for industry on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, at 14:00; for agriculture on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 14:00; and for environment and energy on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 14:00.

At the committee meetings to be held at the Mevlana Development Agency Konya service building, issues that will be included in the Regional Plan and closely concern the region will be discussed with stakeholders.
