As is known, an international invention fair titled "Istanbul International Invention Fair (ISIF)" has been held since 2016 under the coordination of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office to increase the number of domestic patent applications, create awareness about patents in our companies, and facilitate technology transfer transactions and commercialization activities of our companies.

Within the scope of the said invention fair, the Patent Appointment System service, which provides one-on-one meeting opportunities with relevant institution experts during the patent application and research processes, is carried out; inventions exhibited at the fair are evaluated by the International Jury Board according to determined criteria, and successful inventors are given various awards, and the International Invention Fair Grand Awards are presented by our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN.

In this context, the “9th International Invention Fair (ISIF 24)”, where approximately 500 inventions from more than 20 countries will be exhibited, will be held at Adana Şakirpaşa Airport between October 02 – October 06, 2024, under the umbrella of TEKNOFEST Aerospace and Technology Festival, hosted by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, with the international support of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA).

At the fair where the Patent Appointment System will be applied, exhibited inventions will be awarded, meeting opportunities with representatives of domestic and foreign investment groups will be provided, various mentoring activities will be carried out, and information about the Patent with Turkey Universities Invention Competition will be provided.
